Ayurvedalya was a dream. A simple dream to make Ayurvedic care, more accessible and affordable. The 5000 year old tradition of effective care and cure, had to be taken to people who need the most. Therefore we set on a journey and established first-of-its-kind, multi-brand Ayurvedic stores, in different parts of Bangalore. The visionary zeal of Heram Reddy and the untiring support rendered by Janardhan, played a pivotal role. It was their entrepreneurial passion, never-say-die attitude, and strategic thinking that provided the impetus. Along with that, the franchisee model blended well with our dream of making Ayurvedic care more accessible.
Within two years, 31 stores were opened across Bengaluru. Each and every store has been running successfully, offering affordable healthcare to people, where they are, at their convenience. 45 new multi-brand stores will be opened in the next 6 months across Bangalore and 150 stores across Karnataka in the next 12 months. A promising future that stand testimony to the dream.
Recently, during the 7th Annual Healthcare Excellence Awards 2015, held at Hyatt Regency – Mumbai, Ayuredalaya was given the ‘Ayurveda Medicine Service Provider Company of the Year’ award at a glittering function that was attended by experts, opinion makers, and stalwarts of the Indian healthcare industry. The function was held to recognize and award the best in the industry. Nearly 25 companies / persons were awarded during this prestigious function.

- Portea Medical was given the 2015 India Home Medical Care Services Company of the Year Award.
- Abbot was given the most Innovative Marketing Campaign of the Year – Pharmaceutical Company award.
- Allergen India Pvt. Ltd., was adjudged as the best Vision Care Pharmaceutical Company of the Year.
- Dr. Kamini Rao was presented with the award for Emerging IVF Service Provider Company of the Year (Independent Chain) Milann- The Fertility Centre.
Dr.Arjun Kalyanpur, CEO and Chief Radiologist at Teleradiology Solutions was given the Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dr. Shivkumar Sarin, Senior Professor and Head, Department of Hepatology Director, Institute of Liver and Biliary Science (ILBS).
Clinician skill enhancement company of the year was bagged by Johnson and Johnson Medical India.

I was overwhelmed when my name was called out to receive the award for Ayurveda Medicine Service Provider Company of the Year 2015. Here is the acceptance speech I delivered at the august gathering.

It feels like a child prodigy being recognized and awarded. We have a long way to go, grow and make society glow. This award is a recognition of our zeal to take Ayurveda to every home. This award is in recognition of our efforts to make Ayurveda affordable and easily accessible. This award is a recognition and an encouragement to our dreams of opening more than 2000 stores across India.
Thank you once again. We have miles to go, to touch people’s lives, with the magical power of Ayurveda.
