Dr. Brahmanand Nayak is an affable and caring physician, graduated BAMS from KLE’S BMK Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Belgaum in 1994. He did his MD in Ayurveda from Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bangalore in 1998. Dr. Brahmanand Nayak has treated more than one lakh patients since 1999. His patients, become his friends, admire him for his in-depth understanding, patient listening, and accurate diagnosis. He has successfully treated people with more than 80 clinical conditions. He offered free consultation through correspondence to 10,000 patients across Karnataka for 5 years.

As an author and a columnist, he published hundreds of articles on health in: Prajavani, Sudha, Samyukta Karnataka, Kannada Prabha, Karmaveera, and Deccan Herald. A few cover stories are preserved and referred by the readers for years. He has been on more than 30 Radio shows providing valuable tips to people who call in. He has the remarkable distinction of writing a weekly column, every Sunday, in North Canara’s popular daily “Karavali munjavu” since July 2003, the only health-related column to appear in a Kannada Newspaper, written by one doctor for a record 588 weeks without any break.

Dr. Brahmanand is the Editor-in-Chief of Ayurvedline, a first-of-its-kind yearly magazine that is packed with information for doctors and experts who would like to know everything about Ayurveda. It is the No.1 Doctors’ desk reference book in India for Ayurvedic Physicians. He is a technical advisor to six Ayurveda Companies across India who seek his expert advice on drug formulation to enhance the efficacy of drugs.
